We specialize in your relationship with your mother, (Mother Nature) and her ever changing moods, by offering you a wide variety of hand selected products for your challenges and your comfort. We specialize in eliminating the voices in your head that may say “I could be better at this if I weren’t thinking how uncomfortable, or cold or damp or hot I feel.” Have you said that to yourself? We all have. If your apparel is uncomfortable, it hinders your performance. The steeper the terrain, the louder the voices can become. Hence the name Steep Planet.

Steep Planet offers the user High-Tech and, in some cases, Low-Tech solutions. The industry is teeming with products that are technically innovative and functional. Steep Planet was founded by Scott and Lisa in Eugene, Oregon in 2003 . The business has recently moved to Bend, Oregon to be closer to the recreation, mountains and quality of life. They are both avid in their outdoor pursuits. Lisa is a runner and bicycle racer as well as an accomplished skier and will try any new outdoor activity. Scott is more of a poser, having lived in a number of ski mountain towns and showing no signs of speeding up. He trains all the time just to keep up with Lisa. His motto is “I am going to start slow and taper off from there.”
